Born: December 27, 2021
Pianist Pablo Held studies at the “Hochschule für Musik Köln” with Prof. Hubert Nuss. In 1999, 2003 and 2005 pablo has won the 1st Prize in the “Jugend Jazzt” Competition of the state NRW, Germany.

Up to now Pablo got the chance to work with the WDR BigBand, Paul Heller, Jasper Blom, Matthias Nadolny, Jochen Rückert, Uli Beckerhoff, Ignaz Dinné, Eric Vloeimans, Henning Berg, Claudio Puntin, Claus Stötter, Manfred Schoof, Julian Argüelles, Henning Sieverts and many more.

Among his teachers were John Taylor, Achim Kaufmann, Florian Ross and Vladislav Sendecki. Pablo has performed in USA, Russia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Holland, Switzerland, Luxemburg, and Serbia.

His first CD Forest of Oblivion was released on 12th of September 2008 by Pirouet Records! (Trio CD with Robert Landfermann & Jonas Burgwinkel)

In January 2009 the PABLO HELD TRIO has won the WESTFALENJAZZPREIS 2009!

In July 2009 the PABLO HELD TRIO played in the Finals of the EBU-Jazz Competition at the NORTH SEA JAZZ FESTIVAL 2009. The trio's drummer Jonas Burgwinkel won the BEST SOLOIST AWARD at this occasion.
