Ray Conniff - We wish you a Merry Xmas (1962) (Repost)
Genre: Easy-Listening Christmas / MP3 192 Kbps VBR / 44.8 MB / 31:14
Ray Conniff and the Ray Conniff Singers perform 14 Christmas classics.
WWYMC is Ray Conniff's most popular Christmas album, and it is RIAA Certified Gold and Platinum. Originally released back in 1962, it represents the best of the easy-listening popular music of the mid-1960s. While it may have been contrived and corny, it wasn't pretentious. The arrangements are crisp, and the voices are clear and balanced.
Tasteful, traditional orchestral Christmas music. Fans of Henry Mancini will find Merry Mancini Christmas to be an ideal holiday record. Released in 1966, at the height of his popularity, the album is filled with the lush arrangements that are his aural signature, and they sound perfect when matched with these 11 Christmas medleys and carols. It is a warm, appealing record that blends easily into the background, making it a good choice for holiday gatherings of all sorts. Review by Stephen Thomas Erlewine

Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin & Sammy Davis Jr. - Christmas with the Rat Pack (2002) (Repost)
Genre: Christmas Vocals / MP3 192 kbps / 74.6 MB / 55:56
Bing Crosby might pop more quickly to mind when thinking of Christmas songs, but Frank, Dean, and Sammy had their share of Yuletide ditties as well, a fact effectively borne out by the holiday collection CHRISTMAS WITH THE RAT PACK. If you're sick of the usual pap that passes for Christmas music from all corners of the stylistic map, try something from the swingin' side of town. Really now, wouldn't you rather hear such chestnuts (pun intended) as "Silver Bells," "The Christmas Song," and "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear" from the likes of these cats than some contemporary prefab pop or country cardboard cutout? Those aren't sleighbells you hear in the background, they're ice cubes clinking in a martini glass.

Ray Conniff - Here We Come A-Caroling (1965)
Genre: Easy Listening, Christmas / MP3 192 Kbps / 41.7 MB / 29:42
Nostalgic for the '60s? What could be better than the perky sound of the Ray Conniff Singers? This collection includes traditional carols such as "God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen," "Joy to the World," "What Child Is This?" and "O Tannenbaum," all done with the signature harmony and beat that made the singers a fixture a few decades back.
