“ | Before this album was released in 1976, George Benson was known largely for his Wes Montgomery/Charlie Christian-inspired licks and his stints with Jack McDuff and Miles Davis. Breezin' was a million-selling, Grammy Award-winning LP and made Benson an "overnight" star. The reasons for that success were Tommy LiPuma's topnotch production, Claus Ogerman's ethereal arrangements, and Benson's soulful vocals on Leon Russell's ballad "This Masquerade." Backed by Fourplay drummer Harvey Mason, master percussionist Ralph MacDonald, bassist Stanley Banks, rhythm guitarist Phil Upchurch, and keyboardists Ronnie Scott and Jorge Dalto, Benson and the crew laid down the moods and grooves we now call "contemporary jazz." From the soft-rock of "Six to Four," the midtempo backbeat of the title track, and the Latin-tinged tunes "Affirmation," "So This Is Love?" and "Lady," Benson's fleet-fingered Ibanez guitar lines make the rare leap from straight-ahead to the mainstream. Added to the DVD-A are two bonus tracks not on the LP: a snappy and soulful rendition of "Down Here on the Ground," from the movie Cool Hand Luke, a Bob James-like funk number "Shark Bite." George Benson was never the same after this record and neither was jazz. --Eugene Holley, Jr. | ” |

I hope you have more from George
The Bonus Track "Down Here on the Ground" makes this DVD rip essential. If you thought "This Masquerade" was great, wait till you hear George sing this last tune.
I'm looking for classical music in dvd-audios (full copies would be best, else flac copies at 24bits, 96Khz).
Do you know where I can find that?
Using the seach function of avaxhome, I found very little.
Thanks for this and for all of your other stellar rips! I don't know why nobody else reported this, but the bonus tracks are corrupt and, yes, I have tried to repair the archive-twice-to no avail. Could you please re-up those 2 tracks
Thanks again for all of your hard work!
Edit: I'll try re-downloading the last 2 or 3 parts in case that was the problem and report back. I always think of these things after the fact lol!
I hope things worked out fine for you with a new download. There is nothing wrong with the RAR's on Rapid Share. All extracted perfectly with no repairs needed. If you used Internet Explorer please ditch it and use FireFox. I.E. always corrupts downloads due to it use of temp folders. RAR's get corrupted with all this IE moving of files from one folder to another.
Most importantly you can stop those annoying and potential dangerous embedded ads using FireFox and the Adblock Plus plug-in. Both are must have items for AvaxHome browsing.
