The Unwritten is an ongoing comic book series about Tom Taylor, who serves as the basis for a very popular series of novels written by his father about the adventures of a boy wizard named Tommy Taylor, but whose life suddenly becomes intertwined with that of his fictional namesake. It is being published by the the Vertigo imprint of DC Comics, and currently one of its best ongoing titles. It has received multiple Eisner Award several nominatiions and would have won this year if not for my favorites The Walking Dead and Chew. That gives you an idea of how well-created this series is as it explores themes related to fame, celebrity, and the relationship between fiction and human consciousness. All Minutemen scans.
