Having performed with the band No-Man, and in Barbieri's case nouveau prog rockers Porcupine Tree, JBK began exploring longer possibilities in their music, as demonstrated on their label debut, Beginning to Melt, a compilation of tracks by or featuring JBK that had no home elsewhere. Worth the price alone for the Karn/Torn composition "Shipwrecks," a perfect summation of how a piece called "Shipwrecks" should sound, other notable tracks include "The Wilderness" (Mr. & Mrs. B) and Robby Acceto's "Human Age."

“The RAH Band was a fictitious studio based group (fictitious in that it was no group, it contained only him); RAH being the initials for Richard Anthony Hewson. In 1977 Hewson wrote an instrumental called "The Crunch", which climbed to number 6 in the UK Singles Chart. Hewson played all the musical instruments himself. A number of jazz funk releases followed. The second big hit single for the RAH Band was in 1985, when the soul ballad "Clouds Across the Moon", also reached number 6 in the UK chart. This single was recorded in conjunction with his then wife, Liz, on vocals.
In July 2007, Hewson released a remixed "Clouds Across the Moon '07", now featuring vocalist Emma Charles.
The drummer on "Clouds Across The Moon" was Peter Boita. The Simmons SDS7 drums that were featured were recorded at Hewson's home studio, and plugged directly into the recording desk. Peter Boita also played drums on The RAH Band's other tracks, namely: Falcon, Perfumed Garden, Messages From The Stars, Are You Satisfied ( Funka Nova) and "Sorry Doesn't Make It Anymore". The RAH band's releases were issued under a variety of record labels, including Good Earth Records, DJM, KR Records, TMT Records and RCA

“Biography by Michael Sutton
Classix Nouveaux was one of the first new romantic acts in England. Although Classix Nouveaux's more guitar-heavy sound separated them from the mostly synthetic rhythms of Japan and Ultravox, the group's appetite for stylish fashion and danceable keyboards had them quickly associated with the new romantic movement. Formed in 1979 with Sal Solo (vocals), Mik Sweeney (bass), BP Hurding (drums), and Jak Airport (guitar), Classix Nouveaux originated in the punk underground, namely from the ashes of the controversial X-Ray Spex. After banshee wailer Poly Styrene departed from X-Ray Spex, the remaining members held auditions for a replacement singer. Solo won the approval of a few of Styrene's former bandmates, and they debuted at the Music Machine on August 1979. Airport left the group before they even recorded their first single; he was replaced by Gary Steadman. In 1981, Classix Nouveaux released "Guilty," their most well-known track; "Guilty" was a Top-20 hit in Sweden, and the video received airplay on MTV. A year later, the single "Is It a Dream" reached number 13 on the U.K. charts. Despite successful tours in Yugoslavia, Finland, and Poland, none of Classix Nouveaux's three albums truly catapulted them from cult status in Britain or America. The band split up in 1985, and Solo started recording Christian music.

“The Buggles were an English New Wave band formed in 1977, initially consisting of Trevor Horn (bass guitar, guitar, percussion, and vocals), Geoff Downes (percussion and keyboards) and Bruce Woolley.
Adventures in Modern Recording is the second and last studio album by the British synthpop duo The Buggles released in 1981 on Carrere Records. Made one year after their stint as members of Yes, the album contains nine tracks, including a stripped-down version of Yes's "Into the Lens", here entitled, "I Am a Camera". The album contained no hits, and The Buggles broke up during recording, with Geoffrey Downes joining Asia and Trevor Horn becoming a producer. The album as released was mostly a Trevor Horn solo effort, with Bruce Woolley assisting in completing the tracks.
The album was first issued on compact disc in 1992 by Japanese label Jimco Records. In 1997 it was reissued with three bonus tracks, this time on the Japanese Flavour of Sound label. A new reissue was released by Salvo Records on 15 February 2022 (the US import version on the 23rd); it contains 10 bonus tracks		”

“Silicon Dream was a synthpop band formed by the German Klaus Munzert (born 14 July 2022) in 1987. Other prominent members were the dancers Angelo and Danny featuring on the band's music videos.Inspired by bands like Kraftwerk and Depeche Mode, the band came to life following Munzert's experimentations with samplers and his desire to have fun onstage dressed up, even though other people still managed to recognize him. “Gangway was a Danish band (now-defunct), sometimes classified as indie pop. Gangway consists of Allan Jensen lead singer, Henrik Balling on guitar, Torben Johansen on keyboards, and four different drummers, Jan Christensen (1982-84), Gorm Ravn-Jonsen (1984-89), Cai Bojsen-Møller (1991-94), and Jeppe Moesgaard (1996-98).Their song My Girl and Me was a big hit in Denmark and was also played on MTV.Sitting in the Park Again is Gangway's third studio album, released in 1988. “Klaus Sperber (January 24, 2022 - August 6, 2021), better known as Klaus Nomi, was a German countertenor noted for his wide vocal range and an unusual, otherworldly stage persona.Nomi was known for his bizarrely theatrical live performances, heavy make-up, unusual costumes, and a highly stylized signature hairdo which flaunted a receding hairline. His songs were equally unusual, ranging from synthesizer-laden interpretations of classical music opera to covers of 1960s pop.Nomi was one of the first celebrities to contract AIDS.
