Steely Dan - Pretzel Logic
Label: MCA | MP3 | CBR | 320kbps | 82MB | covers included
Genre: Rock, Pop Rock, Soft Rock

That's Dan's third album, a magnificent one I must say. More complex and cynical than their previous two albums, this one is full of rock, blues and jazzy tunes. Higly recommended, a must have album.

Steely Dan - Countdown To Ecstasy
Label: MCA | MP3 | 320kbps | CBR | 97MB | covers included
Genre: Rock, Pop Rock, Soft Rock

After their terrific album "Can't Buy A Thrill", Steely Dan came up with a very good follow-up, "Countdown To Ecstasy", for which many people claim that musically it's even better than their debut album. Don't miss it!

Steely Dan - Can't Buy A Thrill
Mabel: MCA | MP3 | 320kbps | 96MB | covers included
Genre: Rock, Pop Rock, Soft Rock

This is the debut album from this fantastic duo released in 1972. Walter Becker and Donald Fagen were remarkable craftsmen from the start, as Steely Dan's, Can't Buy a Thrill, illustrates. "Do It Again", "Reelin' In The Years", "Only A Fool Would Say That", "Change Of The Guards" and the rest of the songs, make this album a highly recommended proposition.

This is the Gil Evans Orchestra that made its initial appearence in the Jazz Gallery in New York City towards the end of 1960. Out Of The Cool is Gil Evans at its finest. A (rare) jazz gem overall. Highly recommended.

Sean Kingston
Label: Epic/Sony | MP3 CBR 320kbps | 108 MB
Genre: Rap, Hip-Hop, Reggae

Sean Kingston, the 17 year-old Miami born, Jamaica bred artist, is not just a new face in popular music; he s accomplished the rare task of creating a new genre where rap, reggae, pop, doo-wop and remarkable songwriting all combine into something totally refreshing. Add in Sean s family roots, which cite Jamaican legendary producer Jack Ruby as his grandfather, and you have one of the most exciting debuts this year. And while hip-hop lyrics have sparked the biggest debate in years, Sean finds himself in the center of the controversy - but not where you might think. The teen prefers to show his creativity without using profanity.

WAR - All Day Music
Label: Avenue Records | MP3 | CBR | 320kbps | 93,3MB
Genre: R&B (Styles: Latin Rock, Soul, Funk, Brown-Eyed Soul)

This is WAR's second album. Full of mellow and jazzed funk rhythms, All Day Music still remains as one of the band's best-ever efforts.

WAR - Why Can't We Be Friends? (1975)

WAR - Why Can't We Be Friends?
Label: Avenue Records | MP3 CBR 320kbps | 107MB | covers included
Genre: R&B (Styles: Latin Rock, Soul, Funk, Brown-Eyed Soul)

This is the last album that WAR did for United Artist before moving to MCA. It is still remains as one of their highest moments, an excellent album, that marks the end of the WAR era as we knew it. Their recordings to MCA would never reach the standards of those released in UA (1971-1975). This album includes the monster-hit "Low Rider" which in some way overshadowed the rest of the album. But it only takes one listening to the whole album for someone to realize that "Why Can't We Be Friends" is a masterpiece in its scope and breadth. Highly recommended.
Michael Franks - The Art Of Tea (1975)

Michael Franks - The Art Of Tea
Label: Reprise/WEA | FLAC-Lossless 204 MB | Separate Files | MP3 CBR 320kbps | 81,3 MB | Covers 2 MB
Genre: Smooth Jazz, Pop Jazz, Contemporary

How is it possible to like an artist with an album titled The Art Of Tea and songs about Eggplant and Popsicle Toes?... I asked this question a long time ago to my friend who has given me the record to listen to. After an hour I had answer this question myself and ever since I have been a Michael Franks' fan. It is also true that he's an artist that from the first hearings you liked him or not. No middle solutions. I would recommend that if you don't know his music to give it a try with this one. In my opinion that's his best record. I hope you will enjoy it!

Michael Franks - Burchfield Nines
Label: WEA | FLAC-Lossless 196 MB | MP3 CBR 320kbps | 86,3 MB | Covers 3,2 MB
Genre: Smooth Jazz, Pop Jazz, Contemporary

This time Michael Franks seems to wonder what has happened and The Cookie Jar Is Empty. Lyrically this album is the follow up to the Art of Tea, released almost 3 years before. A little bit funkier though, thanks to the arrangements of Eumir Deodato and the rhythm session players, Steve Gadd, Ralph McDonald and Will Lee. Another very good album from Franks produced again by the legendary Tommy LiPuma.

Gato Barbieri - The Shadow Of The Cat
Label: Peak Records | MP3 CBR 320kbps | 137 MB | covers included
Genre: Jazz, Smooth Jazz

Some things are like the wine. They get better with age. The Argentinian tenor saxophonist Gato Barbieri is one of those cases. I really didn't expect to listen to such a good and filled with soul record. This record has everything. From romantic slow tempo songs to jazz-funky cuts, even a smooth - jazz remake of the Last Tango In Paris. The production is terrific and the line up of the participating musicians is simply excellent. Surely one of the best records Barbieri ever made...even at the age of 70!
