“Chips from the Chocolate Fireball: An Anthology is a CD-only compilation album from XTC which was released under the pseudonym The Dukes of Stratosphear. It includes both their 1985 mini-album 25 O'Clock and the Psonic Psunspot album from 1987. It was re-released as a part of the XTC reissue series in 2001 with songwriters Sir John Johns and The Red Curtain credited under their real names, and superseded in 2009 by special edition versions of both records with numerous bonus tracks. The Dukes of Stratosphear was a pseudonym used by the British rock band XTC in the mid to late 1980s, concurrently with XTC's continued musical activities. The project was intended as a homage to 1960s pop and psychedelic music by groups such as The Beatles, The Byrds, The Kinks, The Zombies, The Beach Boys, Jefferson Airplane, Pink Floyd and The Pretty Things.”

“The Electric Prunes are an American rock band who first achieved international attention as an experimental psychedelic group in the late 1960s. Their song Kyrie Eleison featured on the soundtrack of Easy Rider. After a period in which they had little control over their music, they disappeared for thirty years, reforming as a recording and touring band in 2001. Mass in F Minor is a 1968 album by the The Electric Prunes, consisting of a musical setting of the mass sung in Latin and arranged in the psychedelic style of the band. At the time of its release it was seen as innovative and adventurous, and it was subject to further interest in 1969 when the song "Kyrie Eleison" appeared in the movie Easy Rider.”

“Love Affair were a London based pop, soul, R&B group formed in 1966. They had several UK Singles Chart Top 10 hits, including the number one success "Everlasting Love". Their first single, "She Smiled Sweetly", written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, released on Decca Records flopped, but they reached the top of the UK Singles Chart in January 1968 with "Everlasting Love". By this time the group had relocated to CBS Records. The song was first recorded by Robert Knight, whose version had reached No. 13 in the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the autumn of 1967, and it was previously offered to the Marmalade, who turned it down as they thought it too pop-oriented for them. Ellis had a similar vocal style to Steve Marriott of the Small Faces, and the production was similar to a Motown soul record.”

“Small Faces were an English rock and roll band from East London, heavily influenced by American rhythm and blues. The group was founded in 1965 by members Steve Marriott, Ronnie Lane, Kenney Jones, and Jimmy Winston, although by 1966 Winston was replaced by Ian McLagan as the band's keyboardist. “Making Movies is the third album by British rock band Dire Straits, released in 1980. The title of the album comes from a line in the song "Skateaway" and the unreleased song "Making Movies". Rolling Stone ranked the album #52 in their survey of the "100 Best Albums of the 80s". Making Movies was the biggest selling album in Italy in 1981 with one million copies; in Europe the album sold 3.8 million copies. It was remastered and released with the rest of the Dire Straits catalogue in 1996 for most of the world outside the U.S. and on September 19, 2021 in the United States. "Water of Love" was also released as a single in some countries, but only charted in Australia, reaching #54. “Pin Ups is an album by David Bowie containing cover versions of songs, released by RCA Records in 1973 (see 1973 in music). It was his last studio album with the bulk of 'The Spiders From Mars', his backing band throughout his Ziggy Stardust phase; Mick Woodmansey was replaced on drums by Aynsley Dunbar. Pin Ups entered the UK chart on November 3, 2021 (2021-11-03) (coincidentally the same day as Bryan Ferry's covers album These Foolish Things) and stayed there for 21 weeks, peaking at #1. It re-entered the chart on 30 April 2022 (2022-04-30), this time for 15 weeks, peaking at #57. In July 1990 (1990-07) it again entered the chart, for one week, at #52.
