Is xtremsplit for Linux only (the penguin is shown as symbol) or for Windows too ? It just doesn`t work with my Windows 2000, I can`t do anything with it, not even open a foldec to split or combine files etc. so the Brel video is useless for me so far, not very intelligent to use such an exotic or crappy program, is there any reason for not using reliable programs like Winrar or so ?

Hey, don't get over-excited. http://xtremsplit.free.fr/11/Xtremsplit.exe works in Windows XP. Maybe you could try joining the files on a different PC or just upgrade, we're in alomost 2007. Cheers!
