Carmina Burana is a scenic cantata composed by Carl Orff between 1935 and 1936. It is based on 24 of the poems found in the medieval collection Carmina Burana. Its full Latin title is Carmina Burana: Cantiones profanae cantoribus et choris cantandae comitantibus instrumentis atque imaginibus magicis ("Songs of Beuern: Secular songs for singers and choruses to be sung together with instruments and magic images.") Carmina Burana is part of Trionfi, the musical triptych that also includes the cantata Catulli Carmina and Trionfo di Afrodite. The best-known movement is "O Fortuna" that opens and closes the piece.

Oui une merveille, presque introuvable en fait, un petit trésor caché :)

Personnellement je cherche une vieille vieille version de robin crusoe, avec les 4 saisons de vivaldi (magnifique)

Est il trouvable en francais ? je l'avais en VHS il y a longtemp mais je l'ai perdu, en VO ca ne me dérange pas, (c'est pas le cas de ma famille ou de tout mes amis)

Many thanks for the wonderful share, I grew up watching O Fortuna from this production as the intro to some show, and since then I was hooked. One remark though, one of the options for the subtitles says Latin, but it's actually some other language (Spanish?) would have been nice to have the Latin. Still, a truly nice share.
