Filip buys an 8mm movie camera when his first child is born. Because it's the first camera in town, he's named official photographer by the local Party boss. His horizons widen when he is sent to regional film festivals with his first works but his focus on movie making also leads to domestic strife and philosophical dilemmas. Filip Mosz is a typical polish man. His wife is pregnant, he has a modest job, and all he expects from life is tranquility. That is until he buys a camera to record his newborn daughter, month-by-month evolution. He has the first camera in town, his boss hears about that and asks him to document a business meeting they will be having. This is the beginning for Filip, from this on he begins to get more and more hooked up by films. (http://imdb.com/title/tt0078763/usercomments)

Mosz is a character that was born to the camera, his naive and curious look give his film an award at the business film festival, and after that he go for his filmmaker side at full throttle. His films begins to get more sophisticated, and he starts knowing people from the business and getting good reviews. (http://imdb.com/title/tt0078763/usercomments)

Krzysztof Zanussi on the right

Fine early Kieslowski film finds a man purchasing an 8mm camera to record the early years of his daughter's life. He ends up filming just about everything he sees and is recruited by the factory he works at to make films for them. Though the films win awards at small "factory film festivals," the man ends up running into the inevitable censorship problems. (http://imdb.com/title/tt0078763/usercomments)

But the camera has become an addiction and the man is unable to stop, causing him to get in trouble at work and his marriage to hit the skids. "Camera Buff" ("Amator") is a film - like so many of the more daring Eastern European films of its time - about the creation of art in the midst of opposition. It is also about the costs that come with making such a choice, and the triumphs that can also result. Polish director Krzysztof Zanussi turns up in a cameo as himself at one of the camera buff's film society meetings. (http://imdb.com/title/tt0078763/usercomments)

Avoid uploads from this person, just look at there :

The files are impossible to recover, most of the time.

"Avoid uploads from this person"

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
FNB.47 is the best, most diligent, most eclectic uploader the world has ever known. I've never had any problems with any of FNB's shares (well... once, but it was my own stupid fault)! Thanks FNB for sharing all of these hard-to-find treasures :0)

Thanks again FNB.47, I could dl and repair Melville, almost every file had to be repaired, but I did succeed at last!

"almost every file had to be repaired" : that's exactly the point. And I never had any problem with regular rar files...as almost everybody there.

WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU ON???
YOU KNOW NOTHING!
SUCH INSOLENCE!!
hehe
The reason RAR files have recovery options is so that you may use them and....althoigh I do have to use them more with this users uploads than any other, I have NEVER had one that didn't repair in the way it is supposed to.
You are being a moron...warning people of something you know nothing about!

kikinet, don't like it, don't download it. I surely wish that all the files you dl from FNB47's posts do have problems, it would be a just punishment for your lack of gratitude.
I had a few problems with some files, true, but i solved them by using the rar repair function, because FNB47 uses recovery record precisely to be sure that, even if something goes wrong, you can still 'rebuild' the movies.
So, if you do have problems:
1st - don't go around badmouthing one of the most diligent posters/uploaders ever seen.
He/she even provides the means to solve most of the problems that can occur.
2nd - even if he did not use recovery record and some problems did arise, are you aware of the huge number of uploads that he/she does? More than 150 full movies, some of them full DVD's and many reuploads. Some of them might go wrong, so what? just ask, FNB47 has been known to solve problems that avax members point out - politely.
So, if you're not satisfied, just skip these posts and nobody will miss you around here.

To FNB.47 - I don't know how you have the will, patience and strength to do all of your uploads, I just thank you for them and wish that those qualities never fail you, in Avax and everything else in your life.
