1979 erschien das zweite und letzte Album der Nina Hagen Band, sprich Nina Hagen mit der Begleitband, die später unter dem Namen Spliff eine eigene Karriere machen sollte. In Deutschland auf Platz zwei der LP-Charts notiert, imponiert das Werk vor allem durch seine wilde Mixtur aus Rock, Reggae und Avantgardismus, gepaart mit Berliner Schnauze und Nina Hagens unberechenbarer Stimme.

During a subsequent European tour Hagen decided to leave the band, though she was still under contract to produce a second album in 1979. This LP, Unbehagen (which in German also means discomfort or unease), was eventually produced with the band recording their tracks in Berlin and Hagen recording the vocals in Los Angeles, California. It included the single African Reggae and a cover of Lene Lovich's Lucky Number. The Band released later without Nina the SPLIFF RADIO SHOW.
