The Leftovers ultra-catchy power pop gems in their new release, "Eager To Please", successfully combines the classic 60's tunes of The Beatles and The Beach Boys with the 70's Power Pop of Elvis Costello, The Romantics and The Rubinoos, while keeping the upbeat energy of The Ramones.

Hailing from Portland, Maine, the great northern seaside getaway, The Leftovers deliver the combination of sun soaked melodies and raw, driving rhythms - powerpop in the true sense of the words.

Forming in 2002, The Leftovers gained a solid fanbase in New England. After two local releases and constant touring throughout the northeast, they finally hit their stride with a release of their third album, "Party Tonight", in 2006. The album fueled their touring farther into the United States and across the pond to England. The band garnered a true cult following within the underground pop-punk scene, getting attention from all-stars Ben Weasel (of Screeching Weasel fame) and Larry Livermore (founder of Lookout Records).

In early 2007 The Leftovers entered Smart Studios to record "On The Move". Taking cues from The Beatles, Beach Boys, and classic 70s power-pop while not forgetting the energy of 90s pop-punk bands, The Leftovers created a sound that is distinctly their own. The album took them on three more full US tours and a full tour of the European mainland.

In the summer of 2008, The Leftovers entered Kingsize Soundlabs in Los Angeles, California to record for their new label, Crappy Records (distributed by Oglio Entertainment). Alongside producer Linus Of Hollywood, The Leftovers entered the studio ready to create something refreshing and original. In 2009, the proof is in their brand new album "Eager To Please". 14 rock and roll gems featuring guest appearances by Brett Anderson (The Donnas), Kim Shattuck (The Muffs), Parry Gripp (Nerf Herder) and Coz Canler (The Romantics).
