Dreamtide features the guitarist and chief songwriter from Fair Warning - Helge Engelke, along with he fellow band mates Torsten Luderwald (keyboards) and drummer CC Behrens. Rounding out this new band is vocalist Olaf Senkbeil (backing vox, Blind Guardian and ex-Jack's Hammer) & bassist Ole Hempelmann (Thunderhead). As expected, Dreamtide's sound relies heavily on the influences of Fair Warning and that band's unique flair for big tempo, big production sounding European hard rock.

On the surface, Lodger is the most accessible of the three Berlin-era records David Bowie made with Brian Eno, simply because there are no instrumentals and there are a handful of concise pop songs. Nevertheless, Lodger is still gnarled and twisted avant pop; what makes it different is how it incorporates such experimental tendencies into genuine songs, something that Low and Heroes purposely avoided. Lodger has an edgier, more minimalistic bent than its two predecessors, which makes it more accessible for rock fans, as well as giving it a more immediate, emotional impact.

This is the second studio album from the Russian Psychedelic band Vespero. Once again recorded by Alisa Coral (Space Mirrors, Psi Corps) the emphasis is back to delivering heaping amounts of long, spacey sounding instrumental passages and multi-shifting tempos, which are executed at the drop of a hat and with razor like precision, thus each composition feels like it's in a perpetual state of change. The early psychedelic Pink Floyd and jazz tinged, Space Rock/ Kraut rock influences are still in abundance throughout, but the vocal chanting for example on a track like "Serata" adds a bit of a Zeul like feel as well.
