Kreesha Turner (born June 10, 1985) is a Canadian R&B and pop singer. She cites R&B acts like Erykah Badu, Jill Scott and D'Angelo, Hip-Hop acts including A Tribe Called Quest, Andre 3000 and Common and Rock acts like the Foo Fighters and Our Lady Peace as her inspirations.
Passion is an album to be released by Canadian singer Kreesha Turner. It was released on August 12, 2008 in Canada and will be released in Early 2009 in the United States.
On August 5, Kreesha Turner's debut album, Passion, was made available for advanced streaming on MuchMusic.com.
In early August, 2008, the album was leaked onto MTV Canada's The Leak on its official website.
On the back of the album, track 14 is listed as the "Bounce With Me (Rhythm Mix)" but this is an error and the track is actually the "Don't Call Me Baby (Rhythm Mix)"
Passion is slated for a US release in early 2009. Although she originally signed in the US through Virgin Records, a Capitol Music Group label, her debut American release will instead be shifted to the Capitol Records imprint, also within the Capitol Music Group umbrella. This will keep a consistency with her Canadian releases under EMI Music Canada which utilize the Capitol Records imprint and are copyrighted by Capitol Records, LLC.
