Ry Cooder - Jazz (24 Bit-96 kHz Vinyl Rip)
Vinyl Rip in 24 Bit-96 kHz | and in 16 Bit-44 kHz | FLAC | no cue | no log | Covers | RS Links | 735 MB + 206 MB
1978 / Genre: Jazz-Blues / Warner Bros. - USA

Classic and pleasant Ry Cooder album with great sound!

One of my favorites of the late seventies is Ry Cooders "Jazz".
It is a nice and pleasant interpretation of traditional American Jazz, Blues and Gospel.
Enjoy this album!
*audiophile recording quality*

Essential Ry Cooder!

Beautiful timepieces from the era of Bix Beiderbecke and Jelly Roll Morton.
If this were Ry Cooder's only recording he would be legendary, but fortunately for us,
Ry spends his life discovering and sharing timeless musical treasures.

One of Ry's most accessable excursions into realms forgotten or obscure, Jazz' highlights are,
'Big Bad Bill', 'The Pearls/Tia Juana', 'The Dream' with Earl 'Fatha' Hines on piano, 'Flashes',
'Shine', and 'Nobody', not to slight the other fine tracks here. A thoroughly enjoyable album of
Jazz Americana with a cast of peerless players.

Hello...i tk u so much...great music...do u care to help me? i get all FLAC files with no problems but when i encode them ( i use mediacoder program) to WAVE files ( in order to burn a cd later) ...i get litles unpleasants "clicks" when i play the cd despite the nice quality.Do u know how can i solve it? tk youuuuu

@carlosalberto
If it handles about the 16 Bit CD version:
Try Ashampoo Burning Studio (version 6 is free)
Do not encode the Flac files (with mediacoder) before burning.
(Let Ashampoo encodes the Flac files)
Probably the problem with the clicks is over now.

@carlosalberto

If you have unpacked the 16 Bit CD.rar archive; (I am using -winrar- ) you get the .flac files.
Can you play them?
If not, you misses the codecs, than you can install VCL mediaplayer which play also .flac files.
If you can play .flac files on your p.c. you can make (without any problem) an audio CD with Ashampoo Burning Studio!

Great album, brings back memories. Used to play my original vinyl copy regularly when it first came out in the late 70's, as it was a great sounding disc on my and mates audiophile systems. This still sounds awesome. Thanks!

@carlosalberto

O.k.: I should uninstall that "terrible" Nero ;-), then it should work to burn the .flac files with Ashampoo 6

Is there also a cue file (with the flac) files on board
you can also try the userfriendly "Burrn" (freeware)

The final track on the album ("We Shall Be Happy") has no content, apparently ... I've un-RAR'd the files twice, and each time the tune shows 0 bytes, and I can't decode the FLAC. No one else appears to have had this problem, but there it is...
Posted By: Arend Date: 26 May 2010 12:31:45
@buckyboy:

There is nothing wrong with the archives..
(you are the first with this problem)
I advice you to unpack with winrar..
or download archive part 4 again and compare if they are identical..in size.
If the problem stays you can sent me a PM
then I will upload the final track for you..

The link for the 24-bit files is dead. Any chance it could be re-uploaded?

@jstrummer
A new update-rip is coming this year...
