Walk on Water finds the classic mid-'70s UFO lineup -- featuring Michael Schenker -- reuniting for another go-round. Much has changed in rock & roll since Schenker last played in UFO, but in UFO's world, things remain the same. The group continues to pound out heavy rockers without changing its formula much at all. To the disinterested observer or critic, this means Walk on Water is boring, but UFO diehards may be pleasantly surprised by the record, since it finds the band playing with energy and conviction, even if the music is predictable.

Stray Cats are an American Rockabilly band formed in 1980 by guitarist/vocalist Brian Setzer (Bloodless Pharaohs/Brian Setzer Orchestra), bassist Lee Rocker and Slim Jim Phantom (drums) in the Long Island town of Massapequa, New York. The group had numerous hit singles in the UK, Australia and the U.S. including "Stray Cat Strut", "Sexy and 17", "I Won't Stand in Your Way", "Bring it Back Again", and "Rock This Town", which the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has listed as one of the 500 most important songs in the history of Rock and Roll. In 2004, the Stray Cats reunited for a month-long tour of Europe. A live album culled from those concerts, Rumble In Brixton, their first ever official live release since 80s, is a double disc containing three never before released songs, a brand new studio track (their first since 1991) called "Mystery Train Kept A Rollin'", and a 24-page deluxe booklet containing rare vintage photos of the band's early years.

The Good Son is the sixth album by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, released in 1990. After an album as dark and intense as Tender Prey, some fans were disappointed to hear a relaxed and loving Nick Cave on this record. The change of mood was due in great deal to Nick Cave falling in love with Brazilian journalist Viviane Carneiro, and an apparently salutary spell in rehab which purged the despair and squalor of the previous two albums. However, today, most fans consider this album as a classic that was unfairly judged at the time.

Manic Street Preachers are an alternative rock band from Blackwood, Wales, formed in 1986. Everything Must Go is theier fourth studio album. It was released on 20 May 1996, through Columbia Records, and was the first record released by the band following the disappearance of lyricist and rhythm guitarist Richey James Edwards. Released at the height of Britpop in the mid 1990s, the album was a commercial and critical success.
